1. Hypnotherapy Is A Quick Therapy
Hypnotherapy is a very quick form of therapy when compared to traditional therapy methods such as counselling and psychotherapy. For example with psychotherapy treating a fear or phobia can be 20 to 30 sessions whereas with hypnotherapy it is just 1 session. It is very rare that I use 2 sessions with people for a fear or phobia with hypnotherapy.
It’s not just fears and phobias where hypnotherapy can be more beneficial. Hypnosis can also be used for bereavement in place of counselling. Rather than having 10 or more sessions of counselling you can have just 1 or 2 sessions of hypnotherapy to help you with grieving. I have a method that I use with people that helps them to get past their grief and feel better about the passing that normally only requires 1 session.
2. Hypnotherapy Works Without Having To Talk About Your Past
Unlike regular talking therapies, when working with me you won’t have to be sat there talking about things that have happened in your past. In fact I’d rather you didn’t. People who have a traumatic past that they want to get past don’t tend to want to talk about it as it is far too painful for them to deal with. I find that on the contrary, people who want to talk and talk about their past don’t want to move on from it as it is their story to tell people.
People can build up an identity with their stories and the idea of letting go of their stories is more frightening to them that the original trauma. Take away their story and who are they then?
In truth they are their inner self. The person who has been waiting to come out of them but the ego tells them that they will be nothing without their story and they won’t have anything to talk about anymore. That is utter rubbish by the way. You will become someone more than you are now with your stories.
3. Hypnotherapy Is a Very Relaxing Therapy
The process of going into and being in hypnosis is a wonderful experience. An experience that everyone has experienced before but they haven’t yet realised it is hypnosis.
You don’t have to do anything apart from sit back, relax and listen. How Easy Is That??
The easiest way for me to describe hypnosis to you is that it is kind of like a daydream. You are aware that there are things going on around you but you don’t really care. You are enjoying the experience so much that you don’t really want to come out of it. Some people are able to make clear images in their mind while some aren’t. It doesn’t mean anything in regards to the level of hypnosis you are experiencing or the success rate of the session, it is just the way that your mind works. That is all.

The very first session of hypnotherapy that you have with me will leave you in no doubt about just how powerful hypnosis is. People tend to tell me after their first session that it is like seeing through their eyes for the very first time. This is because when I work with someone using hypnotherapy, I’m not just working with them on a mental level. I am also healing them on an energetic level and clearing out trapped emotions while improving their mind at the same time.
Hypnotherapy is so powerful when used with energy clearing that a lot of people have their issues completely resolved in just 1 session. Not just the usual quick uses for hypnotherapy such as fears and phobias or stopping smoking but also for things like dealing with being sexually abused as a child and anxiety.
Not everyone has everything resolved in the first session but their lives are dramatically different and their thinking has totally changed. This is because the emotions and stresses that were previously trapped in the body have been released and are no longer there.
